‘We the People’ Need to Circle the Wagons: The Government Is on the Warpath — John W. Whitehead

When I first looked at the title of this paper I thought “blood and guts”.  Then, actually pondering what the author, John Whitehead, was really saying, I thought, “By God, he’s right”.

See what Whitehead at the Rutherford Institute has to say about this situation by going to this site.

The reason why we don’t “circle the wagons” en masse is simple.  It has to do with deception by knowing people, ladies and gentlemen who would just love to turn our republic on its head, and by unschooled government officials.

In particular, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights really say that we the people can order our representives to take an action or make a law and they must do it.

But a large number of our politicians and at least a comparable number of government officials  have gotten the people to believe that those documents say the government really makes to rules and the laws and that we the people must obey government.

‘t ain’t so! Read the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.  Both documents were designed by our forefathers over two hundred years ago to limit power of goverment.  They were not designed to limit the power of the people.

These documents are still to this day our founding documents.  They are not pieces of trash, as one of our recent Presidents stated!  They are our founding documents!
